*Phil Lollar has created, written, produced and performed in dozens of audio/video series,
including: The Little Angels, Adventures in Odyssey, Jungle Jam and Friends, Iliad
House, Little Dogs on the Prairie, Marvy and the RazzleFlabbinz, 3, 2, 1 Penguins, Paws
& Tails, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, Elmo Aardvark, Outer Space Detective,
Kid’s Corner, The Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show, The Mr. Men Show, Olivia, Tom and
Jerry, and Space Racers. Two of those series have been credited with re-inventing the art
of radio drama: the hit comedy Jungle Jam and Friends and Focus on the Family’s
dramatic series Adventures in Odyssey (winner of the Golden Mike Award), now in its
32nd year on the air, and named the National Religious Broadcasters Radio Program of
the Year for 2020. Phil co-created AIO, has written more than 225 episodes and directed
more than 325 for the program.

On video and TV, Phil co-created, produced and performed in Little Dogs on the Prairie
(winner of the Film Advisory Board’s Award of Excellence), was a writer and consultant
for the Nickelodeon/Jim Henson television series, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss
(twice nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Children’s Series), and cocreated,
wrote and performed several characters in Renegade Animation’s Elmo
Aardvark, Outer Space Detective, the Internet’s first weekly animated series (winner of
the Annie Award for Best New Technology Animated Series). Phil also created, wrote,
and voiced several characters for the animated video series Little Angels, produced by
Roma Downey and Mark Burnett for Hearst Entertainment.

Phil also served as head writer and creative consultant for the weekly radio show Kid’s
Corner, provided multiple vocal characterizations for the Chorion-Silver Lining/Cartoon
Network animated series The Mr. Men Show, voiced seven characters for the animated
series Funny Face, served as casting and voice director for the Chorion-Silver
Lining/Nick Jr. animated series Olivia, based on Ian Falconer’s best selling children’s
books, served as casting and voice director for the Cartoon Network/Renegade Animation
production of The Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show, voices Crooked Eddie the Stool Pigeon
and several other characters on the new Tom and Jerry series for Cartoon Network, and
Headmaster Crane and Dodo in the hit animated series Space Racers.

Phil has written 12 books and dozens of magazine articles and stories. He took a double
BA in Radio/TV/Film and Philosophy from California State University, Fullerton,
graduating summa cum laude in both disciplines, and an MFA in Dramatic Writing and
Video Production from California State University, Los Angeles, graduating with highest
honors. He is a professor in the Cinematic Arts and Communication Studies Departments
at Azua Pacific University, and he lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Leslie, and
their dog and two cats.
