Today’s Topics:

1) We receive the gift of Piety to make us love God as a Father and obey Him because we love Him. Piety is a religious devotion and reverence, devotion and reverence to parents and family: filial piety; devout act, thought, or statement,

2) Guest, Brother Knight Robert Yrigoyen, Sr., talks about his faith journey. Although he was active in his Catholic faith as a young person, he fell away. A Marriage Encounter retreat with his wife led him back into the Faith,

3) Saint Thérèse, the Little Flower, has shown that each of us, regardless of how insignificant our role in life may seem, may serve and love God in glorious ways by the very simplest of our pious thoughts, menial chores, small acts of kindness, by our acts of patience when we are put upon by others, and by enduring whatever sufferings
might come our way. Robert discusses his journey into the Knights of Columbus and the good works his council does for Epiphany Church in South El Monte, CA.

4) Robert is the Cursillo English Lay Director for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Cursillo in Christianity is a Movement that, by its own Method, attempts from within the Church, to give life to the essential Christian truths in the singularity, originality, and creativity of the person.
