- Jeff Holder is a leader in kids media that’s educational, aspirational, and inspirational. His strength is in navigating the constantly changing media landscape, having experience in broadcast networks, cable launches, and streaming initiatives.
Jeff has written for Scooby-Doo, Dennis the Menace, Yogi Bear, Pink Panther, Horrible Histories, and other animated series for both the mainstream and faith media market. Jeff has story edited and produced VeggieTales, Bugtime Adventures, Angel Wings, Wondrous Myths & Legends, The Godman and produced apps for Most Important Story.
Jeff’s been Director of ABC Kids overseeing Winnie the Pooh, Pound Puppies and the Saturday Morning slate of development. As VP of Development at Hanna-Barbera, Jeff launched the Cartoon Network, including development for initial hit series Dexter’s Laboratory, Power Puff Girls, and Johnny Bravo. This development was done through an innovative method of piloting of short films. At Sony Wonder, VP of Creative Affairs, he created the animation production pipeline, managed international co-ventures, and was executive in charge of production for Sesame Street home entertainment titles and ABC primetime specials.
Jeff serves as a judge for UCLA’s screenwriting expo, the Humanitas Award, the Kairos Prize for screenplays, and is a scriptwriting instructor. He’s received the Angel Award from Excellence in Media and the Candlelight Award from Regent University. He serves on the board for relief agencies and international scripture ministries. Jeff and his wife are empty-nesters, but they still have a dog that keeps them up at night.
