17 Oct 22 – Our Lady of Fatima & No on Prop 1

Today’s Topics:

1) Prior to Mary’s appearances to the three small children, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta as Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, the Guardian Angel of Portugal appeared to them.  The Angel gave the children this prayer, “My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love Thee! I beg pardon of Thee for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love Thee!”

As California approaches its elections on Tuesday, 08 November 2022, many prayers are needed,

2) Knight Moves is honored to have as its very first female guest, Catherine Hadro. She is spokesperson and director of media relations for California’s No on Proposition 1 campaign.  She is the founding host of EWTN Pro-Life Weekly, a global television show dedicated to the pro-life cause from a Catholic perspective and she now serves the network as an EWTN News Contributor. Catherine sits on the board of The Obria Group, a network of holistic women’s healthcare clinics started in California. She is happily married to her husband Matthew — who is a Second Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and her recently deceased father was a 4th Degree Knight,

3) Catherine speaks about how California’s Proposition 1 is extreme, expensive, and unnecessary, it would mean late-term abortion in California. The No on Prop. 1 coalition is broad and diverse, it is a chance for us Catholics to work with other religious groups. There are practical ways that Knights can get personally involved: Volunteer for phone calls at NoProposition1.com; Write a Letter to the Editor; Put up yard signs; Engage with our social media; Have conversations with your neighbors and friends,

4) The Knights of Columbus is a pro-life organization that defends life from conception.  Many Brother Knights volunteer for the 40 Days for Life campaigns, participate in the Ultrasound Initiative Program, and assist in Pregnancy Resource Centers.
