26 Jun 23 – Eucharistic Devotion with Joe Serrano

Today’s Topics:

1) The Eucharist is ‘the source and summit of the Christian life. A brief explanation of the Real Presence is offered. Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil,

2) This segment introduces our guest Joe Serrano, who tells us his reversion story and how he has come to know that Christ has a calling for us all. Joe credits regular visits to Eucharistic Adoration for his reversion and newly found clean living,

3)  In this segment we discuss the importance of Eucharistic Devotions. Through these devotions, we can adore Jesus, pray in his presence, express our sorrow for sin, and experience a oneness with him that leads us to participate in the Mass,

4)  The final segment covers the Eucharistic revival in the United States, which begins on the feast of Corpus Christi and will extend through 2024.  The Knights of Columbus are being asked to play an important role in this revival as leaders of men.  Through this Eucharistic revival, we will again receive the much-needed graces given to us by Christ when we ask for them in His presence.
